
Lucid Communications’ Seasonal Press Previews were among our most high-profile media events, hosted in Toronto, New York City, Los Angeles, and Prince Edward County. We partnered with prestigious venues including The Hazelton Hotel, Windsor Arms, The Thompson, The Templar, and The Smyth Tribeca in NYC, while Canadian presentations took place at private residences and client retail spaces.
Each curated event brought client brands together in a cohesive, intimate setting, giving top-tier media exclusive access to seasonal story ideas and gift guide inspiration. We built highly targeted guest lists of editors, producers, and influencers across lifestyle, wellness, fashion, design, food, and more, sending save-the-dates and formal invitations and booking one-on-one sessions over two days.
Events featured custom brand vignettes, styled activations, and experiential showcases. Media met directly with founders, previewed products, and left with story angles, interviews, and trials. We often capped the program with a Cinq à Sept for editors and influencers, complete with activations by select clients.
To expand reach, we also launched bi-annual virtual previews, hosting over a dozen to date. These 40–45 minute Zoom events drew 100+ outlets per session, provided valuable face time, and generated real-time feedback. During the event, we share the screen with founder videos to help media develop their own relationships, encourage thought leadership opportunities, and deepen engagement with each brand.
Following each preview, media accessed a private microsite with press materials and images, while we amplified coverage through social channels. Our ongoing pitching and follow-up ensured consistent, high-quality press, keeping clients top of mind long after each event. Attendees also receive curated gift boxes filled with products to try, taste, and photograph — offering a near hands-on experience from afar and encourage product placement and reviews.

Prince Edward County Press Preview – July 2021
Lucid Communications hosted a successful bi-annual Press Preview from the owner’s century home in Prince Edward County. The event brought together top-tier media from Canada and the U.S., combining an in-person gathering with a 40-minute virtual “Lucid Show.” Media received dynamic brand pitches, founder clips, and curated gift boxes to experience products first-hand. By focusing on sustainable, lifestyle-forward brands, we delivered cohesive storytelling for short-lead summer/fall features and long-lead holiday/winter gift guides. Attendees left with strong pitches, fresh ideas, and direct access to the brands behind them.
Los Angeles Press Preview – January 2025
We hosted a 45-minute virtual Seasonal Press Preview from the owner’s Hollywood Hills penthouse, highlighting curated sustainable and innovative brands. Media engaged via dynamic pitches, live Q&A, and curated product boxes. Over 100 outlets attended, generating strong press coverage for clients and keeping brands top-of-mind with editors across the U.S. and Canada.
New York Multi-Client + Virtual Holiday Press Preview – July 2024
Lucid hosted small group presentations at the Smyth Tribeca Hotel in NYC paired with a Zoom presentation for broader reach. Editors previewed curated brands, explored product launches, and received media kits and gift boxes. The hybrid format enabled meaningful media engagement and amplified coverage across short-lead holiday stories and long-lead features.

February 2023 NYC + Virtual Press Preview
Our 16th annual preview returned in-person to Smyth Tribeca Hotel in NYC, complemented by a virtual Zoom session for Canadian and U.S. media. Media received one-on-one presentations, curated story pitches, and product trials. The combination of in-person and virtual events maximized reach, secured interviews, and reinforced editorial coverage across lifestyle, fashion, wellness, and gift guide features.

The 45-minute Zoom session connected top-tier media across Canada and the U.S., featuring dynamic brand pitches and screen-shared founder videos to help media build relationships and highlight thought leadership opportunities. Attendees received curated gift boxes to taste, try, and photograph products, providing a near hands-on experience from afar.
