Lucid Communications’ Virtual Seasonal Press Preview

On July 22nd, Lucid Communications will host its highly anticipated Virtual Seasonal Press Preview from our founder’s century home, Brunswick House, in beautiful Prince Edward County. The event brings together nearly 100 top-tier media contacts from across Canada and the United States, including editors, producers, freelancers, content creators, and broadcast teams actively working on seasonal stories, trend pieces, product roundups, and holiday gift guides.

Over the past several years, our Virtual Press Previews have become one of Lucid’s signature programs, providing brands with direct access to influential media in an engaging, efficient, and highly curated environment. These 45–60 minute presentations allow brands to tell their stories, introduce new products, showcase founders, and build meaningful relationships with media—all without the logistical challenges of a traditional in-person event.

During the live Zoom presentation, attendees are guided through a series of curated brand presentations, product demonstrations, and founder videos, allowing media to connect directly with the people behind the brands. We have found that screen-sharing founder videos not only creates a more personal experience but also generates valuable thought leadership opportunities and interview requests long after the event concludes.

To ensure media can experience products firsthand, attendees receive carefully curated gift boxes featuring participating brands. These shipments allow journalists, producers, and creators to touch, test, taste, photograph, and review products from home, creating a near hands-on experience that consistently drives coverage and product placements.

Following the presentation, attendees receive access to a private online press room containing high-resolution images, media materials, founder information, product details, and direct contact information. Our team then continues with targeted media outreach and follow-up, helping secure interviews, product placements, reviews, trend inclusions, gift guide coverage, and broader feature stories.

Lucid’s Seasonal Press Previews have been hosted in Toronto, New York City, Los Angeles, and Prince Edward County, with previous events taking place at prestigious venues including The Hazelton Hotel, Windsor Arms Hotel, The Thompson Hotel, The Templar Hotel, AKA Hotel and The Smyth Tribeca Hotel in New York City.
